Title: Visiting Instructor/Assistant Professor (3 positions)
Department: Urban Studies
Deadline: May 15, 2008

Duties:

The Visiting Instructor/Assistant Professor will teach four courses each semester (16 credit hours) in either undergraduate or graduate programs. These are one-year appointment, non tenure-track positions.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
For the instructor position, a minimum qualification is a masters degree in urban studies, public or non-profit administration, public policy, economic development or related discipline. Prior teaching experience at the college level is required. For assistant professor position, a Ph.D. in urban studies, public or non-profit administration, public policy, economic development or related discipline. Prior teaching experience at the college level is required.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
The department seeks someone with prior teaching experience in one or more of the following areas: urban studies, public or non-profit administration, public policy, or economic development. Experience teaching web-based courses is preferred.
